| Field notes | Rhizomatous herb, rhizome creeping on ground surface, long and thin, 4-6 mm diameter; 1-2 leaves per sympodium; shoots far apart, 8-11 cm. Leaf sheath 2-3.5 cm long, margin thin and broad, brownish red. Leaf petiole 9.5-11 cm long, channelled, hairy; lamina 13-18x6.2-11 cm, ovate, apex acute, base cordate, lobes large, sometimes overlap.
