| Field notes | Primary lowland forest at base of limestone mountain. Petite clustering fan palm, 1.2 m. Stem diameter 0.5 cm. 11 leaves per crown, no crownshaft. Leaves 25 cm including 15 cm petiole, no spines, sheaths forming a fibrous net. Inflorescences amongst leaves, branched to 2 orders. Peduncullar bract 15 cm, pale pink within sheaths, green where exposed, Young buds and racillae pale pink/orange. Fruit 0.8 x 0.8 x 0.4 cm, flattened longitudinally. |
