| Field notes | Terrestial understory herb, diffusely scattered through riverine and hills comunities, in shade; leaves herbaceous, concolorous dull green both sides, hairs white; spike emergent from the ground (inflorescence on collection cut at ground level); bracts reddish-pink, recurved, firm; perianth lobes 2+1, the 2 larger segments recurved, all lobes red. |
