| Field notes | Clustering understorey palm, stem to ca. 4 m tall and 2-3 cm in diameter, internodes ca. 2 cm, green, white nodal scars. 5 leaves in crown, crownshaft ca. 30 cm x 5 cm, sheath grassy green with chestnut margins and brown indumentum apically, split ca. 20 %. Petiole 20 cm, 13 leaflets per side in fascicles of 2-3, plumose. Inflorescence interfoliar, branched to 1 order, ca. 90 cm long, 50 cm peduncle. 5 first-order branches. DNA sample at AAU.
