| Field notes | Solitary tree palm, stem 2.5 m, 20 cm diameter, wider at base. Internodes 6-7 cm, white, nodal scars 4-5 cm, brown. Crownshaft 150 cm long, 30-35 cm wide, sheaths open, 40-50 cm long, with dense red woolly indumentum. Leaves prorect, 4 m long, no petiole, ca. 70 leaflets per side, in one plane, slightly drooping, regular. Measurements approximate. DNA sample at AAU. Duplicates at TAN, K |
