| Field notes | Solitary midstorey palm, stem ca. 350 cm high, 8 leaves in crown. Sheath pale green with sparse red indumentum. Leaves ca. 1 m incl. 15 cm petiole. 29 leafelets per side, fasciculate. Inflorescences infrafoliar, ca. 65 cm long incl. 30 cm peduncle, branched to 3 orders, 16 first-order branches, largest first-order branch 35 cm long, flowerbuds red.
