| Field notes | Clustering understorey palm, stem ea. 40cm high, ea. 1cm diameter, internodes 3cm, pronounced nodal scars, green, 6 leaves in crown, well-defined crownshaft 20cm x 2cm, sheaths green, leaves bright green adaxially, whitish green abaxially, sheath closed. Inflorescences infrafoliar, spiGate or branched to 1 order with 2 rachillae, rachillae bright green, white at base. Flowers/fruits distichous, fruits 1 cm long, 4-5mm wide at base, conical. Clay, sparse organic layer. |
