| Field notes | Thicket-forming, clustering rattan to 6m. Stem: 2cm diameter with sheaths, lcm diameter without sheaths, internode 20cm long. Sheath: light green with pale indument and fine, straw-coloured spines, easily detached. Leaf: 2m long including 80cm cirrus and 15cm petiole. Leaflets: c.15 each side of rachis, mostly in divaricate pairs, some solitary. Inflorescence: pistillate, spreading and held horizontally, c. lcm long, 10-11 partial inflorescences, partial inflorescences up to 25 cm in length |
