| Field notes | Moderately robust tree palm to c.8m. Steam: c.8cm diameter, internode c.8cm. Crownshaft: 80-90cm. 6 leaves in crown. Leaf: 220cm including 10cm petiole. Leaflets: c.40 each side of rachis, undersurface glaucous. Inflorescence: 4 present, all in fruit, infrafoliar, branched to 1 order only, rachis 40-50cm long. Fruit: obovoid, pointed apex, red when mature, endosperm ruminate. |
