| Field notes | Solitary tree palm to 20m. Stem diameter 16cm. Crownshaft 120cm long. Crown spherical Witl c.12 leaves. Leaf: 300cm long including 20cm petiole. Leaflets: c.70 each side of rachis, drooping. Inflorescence: 4 present With mature fruit brush-like, 100cm in length in cluding 20cm peduncle, branches spreading With drooping tips. Fruit: ripe, black. ellipsoid, c.8mm long, endosperm homogeneous. |
