| Field notes | High-climbing, clustering rattan to 50m. Stem: 3cm diameter with sheaths, 2cm diameter without sheaths, internodes 25cm. Sheath: evenly covered with short yellow/brown spines, flagellum c.3m long. Ocrea: 48cm long, papery, brown, scattered spines. Leaf: 80cm long including 10cm petiole. Leaflets: 12 each side of rachis. in c.6 groups, in different planes. Inflorescence: to 3m long, staminate. 9 partial inflorescences. 23cm between partial inflorescences |
