| Field notes | Solitary, slender palm to 6 m. Stem 2.5-3 cm diameter. Crownshaft 35 x 4 cm, sheath pale green and speckled with purple scales. Leaves ea. 80 cm long, including petiole to 3 cm. Leaflets 25 each side, more or less regular in upper part, irregular in lower part. Inflorescence infrafoliar, branched to 3 orders, flower buds orange, fruit green, unripe.
