| Field notes | Solitary slender, understorey palm to 2.5 m, 9 leaves in crown. Stem 3 cm diam., internodes 5-7 cm, green. Crownshaft 25 x 4 cm. Leaf 1 m long including 20 cm petiole, 20 leaflets each side of rachis, mostly regularly arranged, but irregularly arranged towards base. Inflorescence infrafoliar, 25 cm long 1ncluding 7 cm peduncle, branched to 3 orders, 14 primary branches, lowermost primary branch 15 cm long, flower buds reddish. Degraded littoral forest on white sand |
