| Field notes | Clustering, moderately slender rattan to 3m. Internodes 15cm. Stem diam. 1.5cm. Sheaths glaucous, densely armed with shorty, fine, rusty brown spines, flagellum ca 1m. Leaf ca. 35cm, lacking petiole. Leaflets 5 each side, basal pair strongly reflexed across stem. Inflorescence pistillate, 60cm with four partial inflorescences. Cane for tying houses. Vernacular: Su. Dialect: Madik dialect. |
