Field notes Moderately robust, solitary tree palm to c. 15 m. Stem diameter 16 cm, internodes 13 cm. Crownshaft welldefined with grey/brown indumentum, sheat 102 cm long. Leaves 11 in crown, 380 cm long, petiole lacking, lesflets 47 each side, regular. Inflorescence 75 cm long including 20 cm peduncle, branched to 2 orders, 18 x first order branches, first order branches to 35 cm long. Fruit c. 5 cm long, ellipsoid, red, endosperm homogeneous
