Field notes Solitary, moderate tree palm. Stem diam. 11 cm, internodes 8 cm. No well defined crownshaft. Leaf sheat 70 x 15 cm, margins fibrous. 10 leaves in crown. Leaf 320 cm including 20 cm petiole, 59 leaflets each side, regular. Inflorescences spicate, multiple at a node, spike c. 160 cm
