| Field notes | Solitary, moderate palm to 8 m. Stem diameter 16 cm. Internodes c. 2 cm. No crownshaft. Leaf sheath 50 x 16 cm. Leaf 330 cm including 50 cm petiole. Leaflets regular, 42 each side. Inflorescences interfoliar, becoming infrafoliar, branched to 2 orders, 100 cm including 70 cm peduncle in young fruit, 9 x first order branches, largest first order branch to 33 cm long |
