| Field notes | Solitary tree palm to c. 10m. Stem diameter 55mm. Internodes 20cm. Crownshaft 160cm long x 6cm wide. Sheath with copious white wax. Crown with 10 leaves. Leaf 134cm long including 30cm petiole. Leaflets 26 on each side of rachis, arranged in irregular groups, some in different planes. Infiorescence 43cm including 7cm peduncle, horsetailshaped, with 28 rachillae. Staminate flowers white. |
