| Field notes | Clustering, moderately robust rattan to c.15m. Internodes 25cm. Stem 25mm diam. with sheaths, 10mm diam. without sheaths. Sheath green with short spines. Ocrea 40cm long, green-maroon, rapidly drying and becoming papery, inhabited by ants. Leaf 110cm long including 17cm petiole. Leaflets 15 each side of rachis, arranged in widely spaced divaricate groups of 2 or 3. Inflorescence 210cm long including 30cm peduncle, with 8 partial inflorescences |
