| Field notes | Clustering, slender rattan to c.5m. Internodes 1520cm. Stem diam. with sheaths 2cm, without sheaths 1cm. Sheath pale yellow-green with very short, black, upward-pointing spines. Leaf with short rachis, 15cm long including c.10cm petiole, rachis pale yellow with black spines. Leaflets 5 each side of rachis. Inflorescence 200cm long including peduncle of 110cm, 3 partial inflorescences. Staminate flower buds black-purple |
