| Field notes | Clustering, moderately robust rattan to c.8m. Stem diameter with sheaths 22mm, without sheaths 20mm. Internode 16cm. Sheath with grey-brown indumentum and numerous fine, brittle, brown spines. Ocrea 18cm, fibrous, disintegrating. Flagellum 220cm long. Leaf length 115cm including 13cm petiole.
