| Field notes | Short stemmed palm with procumbent stem. Stem 5cm diam., covered with moss and numerous persistent leaf sheaths. 8 leaves in crown. Leaf 210cm long including 85cm petiole. Leaflets 41 each side of rachis, regularly arranged. Inflorescence 140cm long including 110cm peduncle, branched to 2 orders, 14 primary branches. |
