Field notes Clustering, moderately robust rattan climbing to c.15m. Internodes c.25cm. Stem diameter 1.5cm with sheaths. Sheath pale yellowish green with numerous short, downward-pointing spines. Flagellum c.150cm long. Leaf c.60cm long including 20cm petiole. Leaflets 19 each side of rachis, arranged in three groups, regularly arranged within groups. Inflorescence c.150cm long including 140cm peduncle, two partial inflorescences located distally, higher order bracts rather tattered. Ocrea inflated and boat-shaped, same length as internode, armed with fine spines, disintegrating into dry dibre
