| Field notes | Clustering, moderately robust rattan climbing to c.10m. Internodes 27cm. Stem diameter with sheaths 2.5cm, without sheaths 1.5cm. Leaf sheath green with some grey indumentum, with numerous collars of fine dark brown spines, with conspicuous pale green knee. Leaf 260cm including 100cm cirrus and 5cm petiole. Leaflets 30 each side of rachis, regularly arranged in divaricate pairs, with brown indumentum on undersurface. Inflorescence 136cm long, branched to 3 orders, with 17 primary branches, primary branches up to 40cm long |
