| Field notes | Clustering moderately robust rattan climbing to 10m. Internode 21 cm long. Stem diameter with sheaths 2.5cm, without sheaths 2cm. Leaf sheath bright green with numerous short triangular spines. Ocrea 65cm long, purple-red when young, with collars of fine flexible spines. Leaf 117cm long including 47cm petiole. Leaflets 9 each side of rachis, subregular, very leathery, hooded. Flagellum 3.5m |
