Field notes Shrubs 2-3 m. Lvs crisp-coriaceous, usually somewhat arcuate-plicate and difficult to flatten without breaking, deep green above, pale below. Corolla externally pale yellow lobes internally white, tube internally bright yellow. Fls usually 5-lobed, but 4- og 6- lobed fls not uncommon; also this species seemed particularly susceptible to leaf-gall infectations.
