| Field notes | Acaulescent or short stem. Leaves 10-14. Sheath + petiole 118 x 3 x 2.5 cm; rachis 298 cmlong. Basal pinnae 30 x 0.2 cm, middle pinnae 70 x 3.5 cm, apical pinnae 20 x 0.4 cm. Inflorescence 1 (staminate); prophyll dropped, peduncular bract 121 x 7 cm (widest part); rachillae 20. Different stages of inflorescence and infructescence collected from nearby species ( 10-100 meters) All acaulescent species and identified as same species by flower, fruits and basal pinnae. Fruits almost sessile, one fruit has a short rachillae. Collected 2 buds (pistillate) + 2(pistillate (more or less mature)) + 1 (staminate) anthesis + 1 (staminate) bud.
