| Field notes | On soil among leaf litter. Terre firme with e.g. Moraceae and Mimosaceae. Habit recalling robust, fleshy Xerocomus. Pileus light greyish yellow brown, glabrous. Pores olivegreen (very old). Stipe ca 2.5 cm thick, 3 at base, greyish brown with no special marks (flesh not changing colours). Stipe cortex in exsiccate reddish and flesh yellowish. |
