Field notes Epiphyte; at 5 m; internodes short, to 2 cm diameter; stem to 25 cm long; cataphylls to 3.5 cm long, narrowly triangular; roots slender, branched and tangled; petioles sheathed throughout, rounded adaxially at base, soon acute; the geniculum sharply sulcate; blades moderately coriaceous, semoglossy above, medium green, slightly paler below, weakly glossy; midrib convex above, acutely angular below, paler; primary lateral veins visible, but only weakly raised above or merely flat, mostly obscure below; tertiary veins not visible; inflorescences semi-erect; peduncle 1-ribbed; spadix grey-green, semiglossy, becomong medium green in age.
