| Field notes | Terrestrial; internodes short; cataphyllic fibers persisting; petioles sharply C-shaped, sulcate; blades subcoriaceous, moderately bicolorous, dark green and matte above, semiglossy below; midrib acute above, convex below; primary lateral veins raised above, in valleys narrowly raised below; tertiary veins in part raised below; spathe green, tinged with red, the veins reddish; spadix reddish. |
