| Field notes | Only small branch present, main culm not-seen. Branch internode glabrous, solid, dark green, small white band at top, flattened above branches. Branch node glabrous with small white band under nodal ridge then green to sheath scar, nodal ridge black, not inflated. One primary branch with one spine developing on each side, bra forming a zig-zag pattern. Foliage dark green, long oral setae large purple auricles. Sterile. Used in local construction. |
