| Field notes | Caespitose rattan. Staminate. Leaf sheath green covered by waxy layer, with black margins along split, knee conspicuous. Petiole 30-35 cm long green, flat adaxially. Rachis 120-140 cm long, cirrus not included. Leaflets 2 x 11, in groups of two except distally and basally. Cirrus c. 100 cm long. Inflorescence rachis c. 120 cm long, number of first order branches 10, these c. 40 cm long at the base and c. 20 cm long towards the apex. Flower colour changing from green in bud to yellow at anthesis |
