| Field notes | Bushy shrub to 1.75 m. with trunk to 5 cm in diameter, with hard wood. Leaves slightly aromatic, rather coriaceous and rigid, dark green above, whitish grey beneath with darker veins. Calyx very pale green. Corolla bright deep pink without pattern, hairs within, white principally along stylar groove and in a ring above ovary. No stylopodium |
