Locality Serra Das Almas. Middle und upper slopes of the Pico das Almas. Ca. 25 km WNW of the Vila do Rio de Contas. Sandstone conglomerate metamorphic & quartzite rock outcrops with associated scrubby vegetation with damp flushes, grassland & marsh in some areas. This plant growing among rocks on ridge below summit ridge.
