| Field notes | Tree to 8 m high. Trunk 20 cm. Leaves coriaceous, mid-green, glossy above tinged red and with red-tinged mid-rib & margin, paler beneath. Sepals and glands fleshy. Petals strongly reflexed with reddish claw and small concave white limb, often tinged pink. Fruit immature, glossy green. |
