| Field notes | This plant in wet boggy ground by river. Sedge to ca. 50cm. forming pure stands with erect stems and rather bright green leaves. Rhizomatous at base. Rhizomes with brown sheathing scales. Leaf sheaths at base reddish. Flower heads green, anthers cream. |
