Field notes Epiphyte; internodes green, 3-6 cm long; cataphylls partly persisting as light brown fibers or deciduous; petioles terete, short-sheathed; geniculum 0.5-1 cm long; blade (semi-)coriaceous, oblong, dark to medium green, matt above, whitish green, matt below; midrib raised at base, sunken at apex on upper surface, convexly raised on lower surface; prim. lateral and collective veins sunken above, obtusely raised below, collective vein dark green below; sec. and tert. veins obtusely sunken above.
