Field notes Terrestrial; internodes 1 cm long; cataphylls persisting semi-intact, dark brown; petioles long, stiff, terete; blade ovate, semicoriaceous, bottle green, semiglossy above, medium green, semiglossy below, ± bullate; midrib, prim. lateral and basal veins convexly raised above and below; sec. veins and collective vein sunken above, raised below, collective vein 2 mm from margin; peduncle half as long as petiole, terete, stiff; spathe green, ovate, boat-shaped, somewhat enclosing the spadix; spadix sessile to short-stipitate, ± cylindric, short, stout, yellow to brown-green.
