| Field notes | Terrestrial; internodes 3 cm long; petioles terete, obtusely sulcate, sheathed to near apex; blade elliptic, widest at middle, medium green, semiglossy above, light green, glossy below; midrib sunken above, convexly raised and paler than blade below; other veins hardly discernible, strongly ascending; peduncle as long as petiole, enclosed in sheath of respective leaf, terete; spathe caducous; stipe 1 cm long; spadix cylindric, 1.5-2 cm diam, white when immature, turning yellow. |
