| Field notes | Terrestrial; internodes 2 cm long; cataphylls persisting intact, brown; petioles terete; blade semicoriaceous, medium green, semiglossy above, light green, glossy below, ovate, widest at base, base truncate; midrib convexly raised in valley above; convexly raised below; peduncle 0.5-1 times as long as petiole, terete; spathe oblong, pendent, green tinged with red; stipe 1.5-2.5 cm long; spadix 6-15 cm long, 3 mm diam., pendent, directed at 90° angle to peduncle, cylindric, reddish green. |
