Field notes "Scandent epiphyte; internodes brown, 1-10 cm long; green climbing roots at every node; cataphylls persisting as white fibers; petioles 10 cm long, terete, acutely sulcate; leaves elliptic, coriaceous, punctate on both sides, dark green above, light green with dark venation below; midrib convexly raised above and below; prim. lateral and collective veins slightly sunken above."
