Field notes "Climbing hemiepiphyte; internodes 0.5-2 cm long; petioles thickened at base, short, slender, U-shaped; geniculum 1 cm long; blade broadest at base, cordate, chartaceous to semi-coriaceous, medium green, matt above, semiglossy, light green with dark veins below; midrib raised above and below; basal prim. lateral veins raised above, upper veins sunken above; prim. lateral and collective veins raised below; peduncle longer than petiole."
