Field notes Terrestrial; internodes 3 cm long; cataphylls persisting as light brown fibers; petioles terete; geniculum 2 cm long; blade velvety glossy, dark green above, glossy, light green below, coriaceous; midrib and basal veins raised above and below; prim. lateral and collective veins sunken above, raised below; collective vein formed by first pair of basal veins, 1.5 cm from margin.
