Field notes Terrestrial; internodes short; cataphylls persisting as red brown fibers; petioles long, obtusely sulcate, terete; geniculum 1 cm long; lamina triangular with large basal lobes, constricted above base, chartaceous, matt; midrib and basal veins raised above and below, midrib triangular acute on lower surface; prim. lateral and collective veins sunken above, raised below; coll vein ± 5 mm from margin; peduncle less than half as long as petiole, terete; spathe yellow, longer than spadix; stipe 0.5 cm long; spadix directed at 90° angle to peduncle, 5 cm long green to red, cylindric.
