Field notes Climbing hemiepiphyte; internodes 1-5 cm long; petioles D-shaped, flat adaxially and weakly sulcate; geniculum 2 cm long; blade ovate, widest at base, chartaceous to semi-coriaceous, matt; midrib & prim. lateral veins ± acutely raised above, raised below; collective vein sunken above, raised below; peduncle short, half as long as petiole, terete; spathe green, recurved; spadix sessile, dark ruby to black.
