Field notes Terrestrial; internodes 3-5 cm long, green; cataphylls persisting almost intact; petioles 25-40 cm long, sulcate adaxially; geniculum 2 cm long; blade ovate, semicoriaceous, glossy, dark green on both surfaces; basal lobes overlapping; midrib and basal veins raised on both sides; prim. lateral veins and collective vein sunken above, raised below.
