Field notes "Climbing hemiepiphyte; internodes up to 10 cm long, light green; cataphylls persisting as light brown fibres; petiole 30-60 cm long, U-shaped, acutely sulcate with sharp margins; geniculum to 2.5 cm long; lamina coriaceous, cordate, apex acuminate, glossy on both surfaces, dark green above, lighter green below; sinus between basal lobes obovate, basal ribs meeting at 30-40° angle; midrib and prominent basal veins convexly raised above; prim. and sec. lateral veins and collective vein sunken above, raised below; collective vein 2-5 mm from margin; peduncle terete, about as long as petiole; spathe ovate, green, erect, short acuminate, veins raised on outer surface; stipe 1 cm long, diameter as peduncle; spadix directed at 90° angle to peduncle, sligthly tapered, brown-green; berries green with darker, acuminate apex, obovate."
