| Field notes | scandent epiphyte; internodes short (1 cm, terminal shoot) or long (10-15 cm, climbing shoot), dark green; cataphylls more or less persisting as brown fibres; petioles terete, stiff; lamina palmatifid with 5 leaflets; petiolules terete, flat adaxially with raised margins toward apex; midrib obtusely prominent, sulcate toward apex on upper surface; prominent on lower surface; primary lateral & marginal veins sunken on upper, raised on lower surface; secondary veins obscurely sunken above, obscurely raised below; lamina dark green on upper, light green on lower surface |
