| Field notes | epiphyte, growing 6 m above ground on substrate collected by large bromelia; internodes short, dark green, ~1,2 cm in diameter; petioles sheathed to 2/3 of their length, sheath closed, forming a pipe; petioles terete, sulcate adaxially toward apex; midrib concave, conspicuously lighter green than lamina on upper surface, obtusely prominent on lower surface; all veins obscured, strongly ascending; lamina semicoriaceous, glossy & dark green on upper surface, semiglossy & paler on lower surface; peduncle terete; stipe 0,5 cm long; spathe caducous; spadix 7,5 cm long, 0,8 cm in diameter; tapered, pink to pale red |
