| Field notes | scandent hemiepiphyte; internodes pale green, alternating between long (11 cm, without leave) and short (0,5 cm, with leave); cataphylls persistent as brown fibres; petiole terete, obtusely & narrowly sulcate; short sheath; prominent geniculum; midrib more or less acute above, obtuse below; primary lateral veins raised on both surfaces; tertiary veins in part sunken on upper, raised on lower surface; peduncle long, terete; spathe spreading, green, darker veins visible, 23 mm wide at base, ~0.7 times as long as spadix, margins meeting obtuse; stipe short; spathe dark red to purple, weakly tapered, ~19 cm long |
